A DHL Päckchen XS is limited to 2 kg and 35 × 25 × 3 cm. If an order does not fit, you will hear from me before it is sent.
The cart picks the cheaper shipping method by itself, from the delivery country and the number of pictures. If you want to follow your parcel, pick one of the parcels at the checkout instead.
All prices in the shop include 19 % German VAT and come on top of shipping. The exact amount is shown in the cart before the order is placed.
Delivery time
Everything is made in advance and sits finished on the shelf. So there is only packing and posting to do: ready to ship in 1–2 working days. On top of that comes the carrier's own transit time.
Paying by PayPal starts that period straight away. With payment in advance it starts when the money arrives in the account – a bank transfer usually takes a working day.
Delivery area
Delivery goes to Germany and to the other countries of the European Union. You pick the delivery country at the checkout; the shipping price follows from it. Outside the EU delivery is not possible at the moment – without a delivery country an order cannot be completed.
Packstation and ParcelShop
Instead of your own address, an order can go to a DHL Packstation or to a GLS ParcelShop. You pick the collection point at the checkout under “Delivery”.
Each collection point is filled by its own carrier and no other: the Packstation by DHL, the ParcelShop by GLS. That settles the shipping method as well, and a Large letter cannot go to either – a Packstation is served by the DHL small parcel or the DHL parcel, a ParcelShop by GLS at €3.89.
Either way the invoice keeps your own address.
Tracking
The cheaper delivery comes without tracking: a Large letter is delivered like an ordinary letter, and DHL delivers the DHL small parcel and the DHL Päckchen XS without a tracking number too.
If you want to know where your parcel is, pick one of the parcels at the checkout: within Germany the GLS parcel for €5.49 or the DHL parcel for €6.19, to another EU country the DHL Paket International for €14.49. Each of them comes with a tracking number, and the two DHL parcels add cover up to €500. DHL does not sell tracking as an add-on to a Päckchen – it belongs to the parcel as a product of its own, which is where the difference in price comes from.
If something arrives damaged
Wood is sturdy, the journey is not always. Please report damaged or incomplete deliveries by e-mail to info@woodandriot.de, ideally with the order number and a photo. Until delivery the shipping risk lies with the shop; products that arrive damaged are replaced or refunded.
This does not affect the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. How a return works is set out in the Right of withdrawal.
